CARES

CARES is a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit ran by the Yolo County Public Defender's office. It was founded to address the unmet needs of individuals navigating the criminal defense system with limited resources. CARES operates with local donations and grant funding provided by the state of California to offer indigent defense clients with a myriad of support, from basic food and hygiene items, to housing and transportation.
